Answer:We do not recommend attempting to open up the unit to remove/replace the battery yourself. This will void your warranty. The miniPRO is equipped with a UL-certified lithium-ion battery; these kinds of batteries are very powerful, but also need to be handled with absolute care.

Answer: The Segway miniPRO is capable of supporting a maximum payload of 220 lbs.

Answer: Being able to operate the Segway miniPRO is more based on one’s ability to balance and ride a self-balancing scooter, which varies from one person to the next. The Applicable Age limitation indicates that riding the Segway miniPRO is not solely restricted by a rider’s age!

Answer: Hello, The kickstand should be available within 60-90 days. Please explain what you mean by “balance mode”? Thank you.

Answer: I have ridden it over mulch, hard ground surfaces, but not grass. Golf course I would not hesitate on, anything with longer grass (would worry about it twisting in the wheels), gravel or other moving/slippery bits, no.
